I grew up with speech delay and misarticulation issues. People thought I was stubborn, or just acting up. But the truth was simpler and a lot harder. I just could not express myself like others could. It took nine different schools to finish my education. Nine schools where teachers did not understand me, where I was labelled disobedient, and where I felt like an outsider looking in.

It took years to get an accurate diagnosis. Multiple surgeries and countless therapies later, my condition began to improve. But I never stopped wondering: what if someone had caught it earlier? What if the right therapy had started sooner?

Those questions stayed with me. As an adult, and now a parent myself, I reached out to families, clinics, and therapists. What I found confirmed what I already felt: early detection, the right intervention, and consistent care can change a child's life.
