How do I add a new client?

Ready to register a new patient? Adding a client takes just a minute and you can always add more details later.

Let's Add Your Client

  1. Go to Clients from the main menu on the left
  2. Click the "Add Client" button in the top right corner
  3. Upload a profile photo if you have one by dragging and dropping an image or clicking Upload Files
  4. Enter the client's name in the Name field, which is the only required field
  5. Choose a department from the dropdown if your clinic uses departments like OT, SLT, or Psychology
  6. Select the date of birth by clicking the date field and picking from the calendar
  7. Pick the gender by clicking Male or Female
  8. Scroll down to add contact details including Phone, Email, and Address
  9. Click Submit and you're all set!

Your new client will appear in the client list right away and you can start scheduling sessions for them.

Good to Know

  • Profile images are optional and support formats like PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, and WEBP
  • The Department field links the client to a specific service area, which helps with organizing and reporting
  • Most fields besides Name are optional, so don't worry if you don't have all the information right away

Common Questions

  • What happens if I click Submit without entering a name? The system will show an error and won't let you save until you fill in the Name field since it's required.
  • Can I change the client's information after adding them? Yes, if your role has permission to edit client profiles, you can update their information anytime.

What information do I need to register a client?

The only required field is the client's name! Everything else is optional but helpful.
