How do I add a new branch to my organization?

Got a second clinic location? Adding a new branch is simple, just click the branch name in the top right corner, select + Add Branch, fill in the name and address, and you're ready to go!

Here's how to add a new location to your organization.

  1. Click on the branch name in the top right corner of your screen and a dropdown will appear showing all your branches
  2. Click "Add Branch" at the bottom of the dropdown
  3. Fill in your new location's details including the branch name and address
  4. Choose whether to copy settings from another branch using the dropdown, which saves time if your new location will work similarly to an existing one
  5. Click "Add Branch" and you're all set!

Good to Know

  • Each branch is its own world so when you switch branches, you'll see different clients, appointments, team members, and analytics
  • Therapists can work at multiple locations but you'll need to add them as a team member in each branch where they work
  • Copying settings saves time because Metanoa brings over your roles, permissions, and departments so you don't have to set everything up from scratch

Common Questions

  • Can I transfer a client from one branch to another? Not at the moment since clients stay within their branch. If a client needs to be seen at a different location, you'd need to add them as a new client in that branch.
  • Can I see client information from another branch? You'll need access to that branch to view its clients, so ask your Owner or Admin to add you as a team member there.
  • Why can't I see the "Add Branch" option? You might not have the right access level since only Owners and Admins can create new branches.

How do I switch between branches?

Just click on the branch name in the top right corner of your screen and pick the branch you want to work in from the dropdown list.

Moving between your clinic locations in Metanoa is quick and easy.

  1. Look at the top right corner of your screen where you'll see the name of the branch you're currently in
  2. Click on the branch name and a dropdown will appear showing all the branches you have access to
  3. Pick the branch you want by clicking on any branch name in the list and you'll be switched over instantly and you're all set!

Good to Know

  • Everything changes when you switch so you'll see that branch's clients, appointments, calendar, and team members
  • The "Current" label shows where you are in the branches dropdown so you always know which branch you're in
  • Can't see a branch you need? You might not have access to it yet, so ask your Owner or Admin to add you as a team member in that branch

Common Questions

  • Do I need separate login details for each branch? Nope, one account works for all the branches you have access to and you just switch between them using the dropdown.
  • Why am I stuck in one branch? Either your organization only has one branch or you haven't been added to other branches yet, so chat with your Owner to get access to additional locations.
