How do I edit client information?

Need to update a client's contact details or add missing information? It's easy to make changes.

Let's Edit Their Information

  1. Go to Clients and find the client you want to update
  2. Click on their name to open their profile
  3. Click the Edit button or find the field you want to change
  4. Make your updates to any information that needs changing
  5. Click Save and you're all set!

Good to Know

  • Only team members with edit permissions can make changes to client profiles
  • Changes are saved immediately and visible to others with access
  • The client's history and past documentation isn't affected by profile updates

How do I manage a client's wallet?

The wallet feature lets you track payments, deposits, and balances for each client.

Let's Add a Wallet Transaction

  1. Find the client in your client list and click the three-dot menu in the Actions column
  2. Click Wallet to open the wallet management screen
  3. Choose the Direction by clicking Incoming if money is being added, or Outgoing if money is being deducted
  4. Enter the Amount using numbers only, with decimals if needed
  5. Pick the Type from the dropdown, which includes Credit Card, Cash, Bank Transfer, Check, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Refund, or Adjustment
  6. Check the Payment Date which auto-fills with today's date but can be changed
  7. Add any Comments like a reference number or reason for the transaction
  8. Click Add and you're all set!

Good to Know

  • Incoming means money added to the wallet like deposits or payments received, while Outgoing means money deducted
  • Use Refund when you're returning money to the client, and Adjustment for internal corrections
  • Only team members with billing permissions can manage wallets
