Assessment Reports
Once a client has completed an assessment, Metanoa can turn the answers into a structured clinical report for you. Instead of manually writing up findings from a form, the AI reads through the responses and produces a well-organised report you can review, edit, and save.
How Does It Work?
When you open a completed assessment submission, a Generate Report button appears. The AI reads all the questions and responses from the form and uses them to write a structured assessment report. The content comes entirely from the form answers, so the report reflects what the client or caregiver actually submitted.
How Do I Generate an Assessment Report?
The Generate Report button is available in the assessment modal when you're viewing an existing, saved submission. It won't appear on a form that hasn't been saved yet.
Let's Generate an Assessment Report
- Go to the client's profile and open their Assessments section
- Click on the completed assessment you want to generate a report for
- Make sure the form is saved as the report generates from the saved responses
- Click "Generate Report" in the assessment modal
- Wait a moment while the AI processes the form responses
- Review the report and make any edits before saving or sharing
And you're all set! The generated report is ready to review in the modal.
What Makes a Good Assessment Report?
The quality of the report depends on the quality of the form responses. Detailed, specific answers give the AI more to work with and result in a more useful report. Short or vague answers will produce a thinner report, so it's worth encouraging thorough responses when the assessment is being completed.
Common Questions
Can I generate a report for a partially completed assessment?
The form needs to be saved before you can generate a report. A partially completed form will generate a report based on whatever has been answered so far, but a complete form will always produce better output.
Can I edit the generated report?
Yes. The report appears in the assessment modal where you can review and adjust it before saving or sharing.
The Generate Report button isn't showing on the assessment. Why?
The button only appears on existing, saved submissions. If you're looking at a form that hasn't been submitted yet, save it first and then reopen it to find the button. If it's still not there, check with your Admin as AI access may need to be configured for your organization.
Will generating a report overwrite anything I've already written?
The report generates into the report area of the assessment modal. It won't affect the original form responses.
