Link rate plan to Client
By default, every client uses your organization's default rate plan. If a client is on different pricing, you can link a specific rate plan to them so their sessions are always billed at the right rates.
How Do I Link a Rate Plan to a Client?
Let's Link a Rate Plan
- Go to the Clients list and select the client
- Click the Billing tab in their profile
- Find the Rate Plan card at the top of their billing layout
- Click "Change" to open the rate plan selector
- Select the rate plan you want to assign to this client
- Save and the client is now linked to that plan
And you're all set! Any session payments created for this client going forward will use the new rate plan.
How Do I Switch a Client Back to the Default Plan?
If a client no longer needs a custom rate plan, you can unlink them so they go back to using the default.
Let's Unlink a Rate Plan
- Go to the client's Billing tab
- Click "Change" in the Rate Plan card
- Choose the option to use the default plan instead of selecting a specific one
- Save and the client is back on the default rate plan
And you're done!
What the Rate Plan Card Shows You
When you open a client's Billing tab, the Rate Plan card tells you which plan is currently active for that client. If they've been assigned a specific plan, you'll see that plan's name. If they haven't, you'll see the default plan being used.
