Core Forms
Core forms are system-level forms that Metanoa uses for fundamental client data like profiles and patient records. You'll see them in the Library, but they work differently from department or onboarding forms and aren't something most Admins will need to change.
What Are Core Forms?
Core forms power the structured data fields that appear across client profiles in Metanoa. Examples include the Profile form, which captures a client's overview information, and the Patient form, which stores core client details.
These forms exist at the system level, which means they're part of how Metanoa is built rather than something your organization created. They appear in the Library so that Admins can see them, but they have restrictions on editing that department and onboarding forms don't have.
Where Core Forms Appear
Core forms don't appear as assessments in a department's Assessments tab. They show up in specific places across a client's profile depending on their purpose. For example, the Profile form drives the overview section on a client's profile page.
When a therapist or frontdesk staff member fills in a client's profile information, they're completing a core form, even if it doesn't look like an assessment in the traditional sense.
Do I Need to Manage Core Forms?
For most organizations, the answer is no. Core forms are part of your Metanoa setup and work out of the box. You don't need to publish or activate them the way you would a department form.
If you feel a core form needs to be changed or extended, that's a conversation to have with the Metanoa team rather than something to edit directly in the Library.
